NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man wanted out of Rutherford County was arrested after a traffic stop on Friday afternoon, according to the Mt. Juliet Police Department (MJPD).
MJPD said officers stopped a vehicle on Pleasant Grove Road for a stop sign violation.
During the stop, officers discovered a passenger, a Smyrna man, was wanted out of Rutherford County for assault and three counts of false imprisonment.
The Smyrna man was then arrested.
“We are grateful for our officers and their proactive efforts to keep MJ safe,” MJPD said.
