PEMBROKE, Ky. (WSMV) - A home was badly damaged in a Friday afternoon fire in Pembroke, Kentucky, according to WKDZ Radio.
Pembroke Fire Department Chief Nick Belair told WKDZ the homeowner was grilling when the fire quickly spread to the grass and home.
The back of the South Main Street home was significantly damaged, while the entire house suffered smoke damage.
The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist the owner.
Fire crews from Fairview, Trenton, and Oak Grove also responded to the fire.
