The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to the Almost Home Animal Shelter. The grant was partially funded through a matching grant from the Pasahow Family Fund and will be used to provide spay and neuter services. The “Pawsitive Prevention Project” spays and neuters stray animals that have completed their five-day hold and become shelter property, and pets voluntarily surrendered by their owners.
