Traditional Christmas gifts like Barbie dolls and Lego blocks remain at the top of the lists of North Bay and Area children this Christmas.

The Nugget was able to sneak a few minutes with Santa Claus during the North Bay Downtown Christmas Walk Friday night.

Children lined-up to visit the man in red who was sitting on a wooden bench at the Night Market outside the North Bay Museum.

“Kids are asking for everything from unicorn stickers to Labubu’s, which are really hot this year,” Santa told The Nugget Friday night.

Labubu’s are part of the Kasing Lung The Monsters collectible art toy line and retail between $20 to $60.
