Hancock County Health and Miscellaneous Committee met Nov. 3

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The meeting was called to order by Harry Douglas at 6:30 p.m. Members in attendance included Steve Finney, Joe Boyles, Michelle Merritt, Josh Turner, Steve Lucie, and Mark Menn. Mark Harrison was absent. Visitors included Don Haage.

Mr. Haage handed out the EMS report. There were 103 calls, 93 were billable with 87 being transports. Aaron Feagain’s surgery went well. He is looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. Mr. Haage pointed out that they are overbudget on some line items. They are running 3 BLS full-time trucks 24/7.

Animal control is going well. There were a variety of bite reports for the month of October.
