ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Recent snow is only compounding issues for St. Louis residents who are still suffering after the May 16 tornado.
During a meeting on Wednesday, the St. Louis Board of Recovery outlined the millions of dollars it plans to use to help. That includes more than $3 million going to resource hubs.
They also shared they’re looking to spend nearly $7 million on winter shelter operations, partnering with groups like Peter and Paul to provide shelter, transportation and more.
One of their major priorities this next month is to ramp up the winter outreach program that includes expanding shelter services.
