Christmas in Cheltenham

Ice rinks, artisan markets and a full-on panto season are just a few of the seasonal delights transforming Cheltenham into a winter wonderland this Christmas.

Dubbed The Festival Town , the historic spa town promises a packed calendar of entertainment from late November through early January, including festive favourites, sparkling lights, and new family-friendly events that add a modern twist to timeless traditions.

Tthe Cheltenham Ice Rink will again take centre stage in Imperial Gardens. Open through to Monday, January 5, the fully covered, wheelchair-accessible rink caters to all abilities, with themed music nights, sessions for toddlers, students and adults, and new character skates starring superheroes and princesses.
