COLUMBIA — Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney wrapped up his postgame press conference after the Tigers' 28-14 win vs. South Carolina on Nov. 29 at Williams-Brice Stadium, and he saw familiar faces when he exited the room.
Swinney greeted and hugged South Carolina coach Shane Beamer 's wife, Emily, and son, Hunter, in the tunnel. Both were over to talk with Swinney's wife, Kathleen, and waited for Swinney to finish his press conference.
Clemson (7-5) and South Carolina (4-8) are bitter rivals, but Dabo Swinney, Shane Beamer and their families all have built a strong relationship. Swinney even greeted Shane and Hunter Beamer before the Week 14 game.
