An Evri delivery driver has been sacked after a community noticed they weren't receiving their parcels and some amateur detective work turned up suspicious CCTV footage. Netherton residents contacted the ECHO after watching a courier appear to walk away with their parcels on security cameras.
Residents received delivery confirmation notifications from Evri, including photos of the parcels outside their door, but were disappointed to find that the packages had disappeared by the time they went to collect them.
Video captured on residents' CCTV cameras shows an Evri courier failing to knock on doors or ring doorbells before placing a parcel in front of the door, photographing it, picking the package back up and walking away.
