The sixth-ranked Oregon Ducks notched an important victory over the rival Washington Huskies on Saturday.

Oregon’s 26-14 win in Seattle marked the Ducks’ 12th consecutive road victory and probably ensured that Oregon (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten) will get to play a home game in the College Football Playoff.

But the win also moved UO coach Dan Lanning into a tie with the head coaching record of another successful Ducks coach: Chip Kelly.

Kelly had an all-time win-loss mark at Oregon of 46-7 during a head coaching tenure spanning from 2009-12. And Lanning now owns exactly the same record at Oregon after he earned his second win in five tries against the Huskies (8-4, 5-4).

Kelly led Oregon to four BCS bowl appearances, including a national championship game. Lanning led the Ducks to a Holiday
