CINCINNATI —
The Cincinnati Fire Department says that four people have been displaced after a fire engulfed a home in Pleasant Ridge and claimed the life of one of their cats.
The call for the fire first came in to CFD at 5:02 p.m. on Saturday for a home located on Troy Avenue. Advertisement
Firefighters say that they quickly worked to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes, but not after it left behind approximately $200,000 in damages to the home, according to the department's estimates.
The fire was found to be contained to the home's first floor.
No injuries among any residents were reported from the fire. However, one of the family's cats was said to have been killed due to excessive smoke inhalation.
