Patrick McMahon poured in a career-high 26 points and Davian Brown added 18, but the Bobcats came up just short in a tight overtime battle with Utah State, 84-81, at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah, on Saturday.
The Bobcats (3-5) trailed by just one, 82-81, with three seconds remaining in overtime, but a pair of Kolby King free throws sealed the game for the Aggies (7-0) as Montana State looked to spoil the Aggies’ undefeated season.
