PHOENIX — The murder of a beloved teacher and coach remains unsolved now three years after he was shot and killed in Phoenix.
According to Phoenix police, David Denogean, 30, was walking his dog near 12th Street and Maryland on Nov. 25, 2022, when an unknown suspect pulled a gun on him.
His killer still hasn't been caught.
“It’s been difficult for us," his father, Frank Denogean, said. “This is three years for us, but it seems like forever.”
The last update in the case came from police more than two years ago when detectives shared surveillance video from the night Denogean was killed.
The video and a grainy picture are the only leads investigators have shared about a suspect.
“All we know right now is that it’s a cold case and they still have cold case investigators working on it,"
