Stuffing, a delightful blend of edible ingredients such as herbs, bread, and eggs, traditionally filled the cavity of meat before roasting. It's a scrumptious accompaniment to a Sunday roast.

While it's simple enough to whip up from scratch, sometimes a packet version offers a quick and easy alternative.

Recently, I sampled seven different stuffings from various supermarkets , including Aldi , Lidl, Marks & Spencer , Sainsbury's, Asda , Tesco , and Morrisons. I compared them all, along with Paxo, a well-known stuffing brand in the UK.

To keep things straightforward, I chose sage and onion stuffings from each retailer, reports the Express .
