POCAHONTAS — Black River Technical College (BRTC) Food Pantry delivered a total of 35 Thanksgiving baskets to BRTC students on both campuses, the most the pantry has delivered since beginning in 2022. The baskets included a frozen turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn, green beans, gravy pie, and a breakfast item.
“Preparing our Thanksgiving baskets is one of the biggest joys of my year,” Nutrition Instructor and Food Pantry Coordinator Christina Derbes said. “Knowing that a student will have a warm meal and feel cared for reminds me why community matters so deeply.” kAms6C36D D2:5 :E :D >@C6 E92? 7@@5j :E :D =@G6[ DFAA@CE[ 2?5 9@A6 A24<2865 E@86E96C] $96 6IAC6DD65 96C 2AAC64:2E:@? 7@C E96 A2?ECJ E62>[ H9@D6 4@>A2DD:@?[ 92C5 H@C<[ 2?5 565:42E:@? >2<6 :E 2== A@DD:3=6]k^Am kAm~?
