Skiers and snowboarders who would prefer to avoid taking out a second home mortgage to cover the high price of lift tickets for themselves and their children have a chance to put their kids on the slopes for free at three Colorado resorts Dec. 6-12.

That’s the annual “Kids Ski Free Week” at Alterra Mountain Co. resorts , which include Arapahoe Basin, Steamboat and Winter Park in Colorado.

Kids 12 and under are eligible to receive one free lift ticket each day from Dec. 6-12 at 15 Alterra Mountain Co. resorts in North America, including the three in Colorado. To redeem the offer, visit the resort’s official ticketing website or visit its guest services office.
