Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Parish is hosting a “Quiet Christmas” service on December 15 for those seeking peace this holiday season.
Organizers said the Christmas holiday is often described as joyful and bright, but for many, it can also be difficult for those dealing with grief, loneliness and stress.
“Not everyone experiences Christmas with ease,” the parish shared. “Quiet Christmas is our way of offering a space to breathe, rest, and encounter the comforting presence of the Christ Child as we approach the celebration of His birth.”
The special service will include scripture, prayer and meditative music to create a calm space for reflection.
The service will begin at 6 p.m. and last an hour.
Service details are available on OLGAL.org .
