Temperatures have remained in the upper 30s and lower 40s across central Maryland, Baltimore and the eastern shore with areas of drizzle this evening. Earlier sleet and snow has moved out of Maryland.
A more significant winter weather event is expected on Tuesday, followed by another possible storm late in the week.
Conditions are improving across Maryland
Snow was reported in parts of the state Sunday morning. Sleet occurred in Baltimore City, while light snow fell in Baltimore County and adjacent communities. A light coating of snow was reported on grassy surfaces in northern Carroll County before 10 a.m.
Wintry weather changed to rain late in the morning.
