The Seattle Seahawks (8-3) are looking to win the NFC West and possibly capture the No. 1 seed. Before they reach the toughest part of their schedule against the Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Rams, they first have to take care of the “easier” teams like the Minnesota Vikings (4-7), who have lost five out of six and have to start undrafted rookie Max Brosmer at quarterback. J.J. McCarthy is concussed and can’t play, which means Brosmer gets the nod, and his first assignment is to play one of the NFL’s top defense.
One of the other storylines for this showdown is Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold taking on his former team. Last year he led them to a 14-3 record and played at a very high level, but the Vikings opted to roll with their first-round pick McCarthy and send Darnold into free
