Aaron Guckian , a hard-to-miss 6'7" Rhode Island Republican stalwart with a memorable singing voice and a political resumé that dates back to the Carcieri administration, is running for governor.

Guckian, who ran for lieutenant governor in 2022 , plans to officially announce his candidacy for the state's top office at Brewed Awakenings in Warwick at 10:30 a.m. on Monday December 1.
