Detroit — It might be a lengthy drive back to the Upper Peninsula for Menominee, but at least it will be a jubilant one.

For the fourth time in school history and first time since 2007, Menominee is a state champion in football following a 34-6 triumph over Schoolcraft in the Division 7 championship game at Ford Field on Sunday.
