Bill Belichick’s college experiment may be over. After finishing 4-8 in his first season at the University of North Carolina, which was capped by Saturday’s 42-19 loss to North Carolina State, the six-time Super Bowl champion is drawing interest from multiple NFL teams looking to bring him back to the professional level.

On Sunday, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio detailed the interest the teams have in Belichick.

“Some think one or more pro franchises will explore hiring Belichick, who can leave at any time for a buyout of only $1 million,” Florio wrote. “However, he has received only one interview during two hiring cycles since the Patriots fired him after the 2023 season.”
