Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar announced on X he had to go back to the hospital Nov. 30.

"I'm trying to stay positive," Kosar said in a social media post.

On Nov. 23 Kosar was featured in a segment on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" with reporter Jeremy Schaap visiting him at University Hospital in Cleveland.

Kosar detailed his recent medical struggles , noting he was on the liver transplant list for two years before his transplant on Nov. 17. He had been hospitalized with internal bleeding as he awaited a transplant. He was due to get a transplant the week prior, but the donor organ was found to be infected. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
