Birmingham City versus Watford is a run-of-the-mill Championship fixture that most people wouldn’t have expected to be selected for TV coverage.

Maybe Sky Sports want to showcase the St Andrew’s atmosphere. Maybe they thought it would be a game between two of the promotion contenders. It still could be.

Or maybe they are aware of Chris Davies’ connection to Watford.

One half of the Blues manager’s family are Watford supporters and he grew up following the Hornets.
