ATLANTA — One of the busiest travel days of the year is colliding with messy weather across the country.

At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, officials expect Monday to be the busiest day of the Thanksgiving travel period, with 375,000 passengers projected to pass through ATL .

They expected 4 million people to travel through the airport this Thanksgiving period.

No major delays or cancellations have been reported out of Hartsfield-Jackson so far, but travelers may still be feeling residual effects from issues elsewhere — like a Midwest winter storm, which canceled more than 1,000 flights in Chicago , and a global software problem affecting Airbus A-320 jets.
