On Sunday at 1:14 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in effect until Monday at 1 a.m. for Hamilton County.
The weather service adds to anticipate, "Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes," adds the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways.
