Santa Susana Mountains and Western San Gabriel Mountains/Highway 14 Corridor were placed under a wind advisory by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 10:56 a.m. The advisory is valid for Monday, Dec. 1 between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA , “Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
