MIAMI GARDENS — Cam Jordan has passed another Hall of Famer in the NFL record books.

The New Orleans Saints defensive end dropped Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for a sack on the Dolphins’ opening drive, giving him 127 in his career and moving him past former Kansas City Chiefs pass rusher Derrick Thomas on the NFL’s all-time sacks list.

Jordan added another sack later in the first quarter, giving him his first two-sack game since December of last year against the Washington Commanders. With that sack, Jordan tied Saints legend Rickey Jackson on the all-time list — at least officially.

Sacks became an official NFL statistic in 1982. Jackson, who recorded eight sacks in his 1981 rookie season, officially has 128 sacks.

Jordan is now tied for 17th on the official all-time list.
