IAIN Bruce leads us through a course of interesting observations in his St Andrew’s Day letter ( Angus Robertson stymies a legitimate route to freedom, Nov 30 ) on what he regards as the Union’s constriction of the historical sovereign right of the Scottish people to determine the political course of their own country, a right which ought to have survived the Union, but is being stifled by London’s refusal to allow a further indyref.
