What you need to know as the M6 has been closed southbound tonight:

The M6 motorway in Warwickshire has been completely closed southbound following a police-led incident where a pedestrian was reported to be seriously hurt.

This significant closure is in effect between Junction 4A for the M42 and Junction 3 for Bedworth/Coventry, causing traffic disruption.

Emergency services, including Warwickshire Police, ambulance crews, and firefighters, are currently at the scene managing the serious incident.

National Highways Traffic Officers are also present, and the southbound section of the motorway is expected to remain closed for several hours.
