Elizabeth Olsen is opening up about her unconventional upbringing as the youngest sibling in a family where fame arrived early.
The “WandaVision” actress, 36, recently told the Times that her childhood in Los Angeles was “pretty chaotic,” shaped by frequent visits to movie sets where her older twin sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, worked as child stars.
Growing up as the youngest of four children born within five years, Elizabeth Olsen said the hectic pace of her family life meant she missed some traditional childhood experiences.
“So now I think the idea of a calm bath and bedtime story routine is so tender and sweet because we didn’t have anything like that,” she told the Times. “I love being the friend or aunt who gets to come round and help with bedtime.”
