SPOKANE, Wash. -- A man died after crashing into a tree near South Walnut Street and West 8th Avenue in Spokane last week.

According to the Spokane Fire Department, the driver was trapped inside. Crews were able to extricate him from the car within ten minutes.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
