WICHITA, Kan. (Wichita Business Journal) - Tillie’s Flower Shop has made Wichita a more beautiful place for more than 150 years.

Jocy Denton, owner and manager at the shop, spoke of its rich history, founded in 1876 by her great grandfather, Amos Kuechenmeister, after he moved from Germany. The store originally just sold plants and vegetables and when her grandmother, Matilda, called "Tillie," eventually took over the shop, it became a retail floral company.
