Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin will become LSU’s next football coach.

Kiffin made the move official on Sunday afternoon, releasing a statement on social media regarding his intentions.

“After a lot of prayer and time spent with family, I made the difficult decision to accept the head coaching position at LSU,” Kiffin wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Just minutes after Kiffin’s statement, LSU officially announced the hiring.
