The Pittsburgh Steelers have made five players inactive against the Buffalo Bills. Darius Slay is the leading inactive player, as they have made him a healthy scratch with Asante Samuel Jr up from the practice squad.
Slay was signed to a one-year, $10 million contract by the Steelers this offseason, but has struggled significantly to get going and has been injured. On top of that, Slay has struggled when in the game, and as James Pierre has shined, he has started to take over most of the reps.
Defensive lineman Derrick Harmon will not play with a knee injury. He is out after suffering that ailment during the Bears game, though he finished the game. Yahya Black is expected to start in his place. Brodric Martin-Rhodes will also see time at nose tackle.
