A Trumbull County coffee shop held its grand opening this weekend with a new drive-thru location in Champion.

Serving hand-crafted lattes, teas, seasonal beverages, pastries and baked goods, Pick Me Up started a mobile trailer and is now open for business in its own permanent location.

"We originally opened our original trailer in March of '24," Owner Ashley Wellington said. "We've been looking for a space since then to expand, so we found this little piece of property in Champion that we're leasing and put our drive-thru on it."

Wellington stated that the original coffee trailer started as a livestock trailer before her husband transformed it into what would be the beginning of Pick Me Up Coffee, serving at private events and farmers' markets.
