FAYETTEVILLE — Harvard made the Arkansas women’s basketball team pay from outside and with its full-court press during a 69-51 win Sunday at Bud Walton Arena.
The Razorbacks (7-2) trailed by as many as 24 points early in the second half and were forced to play catchup the rest of the way. They got within 54-45 about a minute into the fourth quarter, but the Crimson finished strong to win handily.
The result marked the first home loss for the Razorbacks under first-year coach Kelsi Musick.
Arkansas will look to shake off the defeat when it travels to SMU on Thursday as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. Tipoff from Moody Coliseum in Dallas is scheduled for 6 p.m.
