I'm A Celebrity star Shona McGarty's punishment has been revealed after she admitted to breaking the strict rules on the ITV show.

The EastEnders actress was caught on camera using contrabrand butter - and was forced to give up her role as leader of the camp.

After being called out to speak to I'm A Celebrity producers, she begged her campmates 'please don't hate me'.

She then read out a letter from producers revealing her punishment. It read: "Shona, there is contraband in camp.

"As a leader you are responsible for the smooth running of camp and ensuring the rules are not broken.

"You now have a choice. You either step down as leader..."
