GRAY, Ga. — A crash in Jones County on Sunday resulted in two people being transported to local hospitals.
The Jones County Sheriff's Office said that two vehicles crashed just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Gray Highway and Graham and Homer Roberts Roads.
Sergeant Johnson said that one female passenger and the other female driver were taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon to be evaluated for minor injuries. Johnson said that the other male driver reported no injuries.
Johnson said that a Ford Escape was coming from Graham Road and "entered the lane of travel" of a Chevy Silverado. He said that the collision cause one vehicle to go into the northbound lanes and the other into the southbound lanes.
They kept one lane open in both directions, so that traffic was still able
