It’s hockey night in Fort Wayne as the Komets welcome their rival, the Toledo Walleye, to Memorial Coliseum at 5 p.m. for their last of seven games in 10 days.
Tonight’s game will be the teams' first meeting at the Coliseum since Game 5 of the Central Division Finals last season, which the Walleye won 2-1 on a late goal by Colin Swoyer. The score was the same on Nov. 15 in the first game between the two sides this season, again going to the Walleye.
Toledo’s roster saw a lot of turnover in the offseason from last year’s playoff series.
