Paul Campbell and Erin Cahill star in Hallmark Channel ‘s new movie Christmas at the Catnip Café and they got to work with over a dozen cats during the making of the movie!

The co-stars opened up about filming the holiday movie while appearing at Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas launch event in Nashville back in October.

“I don’t have a cat, but I grew up with one, so in between takes I was in the ‘catio’ pretty much half the time,” Erin said. Paul chimed in to clarify that the catio is a “patio full of cats.”

Paul added, “There were like 15 cats just hanging out in the catio at any given time.” Erin said, “And they all had moods!”

Christmas at the Catnip Café airs on Hallmark Channel on Sunday night (November 30) at 8pm.
