Hello, everyone. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. The weather was, shall I say, appropriate for this time of the year, with clouds and rain. Let’s not forget some gusty winds thrown in for good measure. A much quieter weather pattern is shaping up for the upcoming week or so.
Despite the rain the past several days, as of midday Friday, Vancouver was still running below average for the month. The monthly rainfall total was 4.60 inches Friday. With a mostly dry weekend in the forecast, it will go down as a below-average month unless we had a few heavy showers Friday after I wrote this column.
Cooler air will infiltrate the region today and Sunday, with a slight chance of sprinkles late today. Otherwise, mostly sunny skies and breezy easterly winds are on tap
