Teenage darts starlet Mitchell Lawrie created history on his debut at the WDF World Championship in Lakeside.
The 15-year-old, who claimed his first senior title at just 14, has become the youngest player to ever win a match at the iconic venue.
This surpasses Luke Littler's personal record he set at Lakeside in 2022 where he blitzed through to the last-32 aged 15.
Lawrie, who only turned 15 last month, has been steadily building his reputation , claiming the British and Welsh Open as well as The Irish Classic earlier this year as he looks to emulate Littler 's achievements.
And his first-round performance was top drawer.
He faced off against Japan's Tomoya Maruyama and eased to a 3-0 victory on Sunday.
Lawrie averaged 90 and even hit a ten-dart leg.
