Dillon Gabriel got his job back from Shedeur Sanders for one play as the Cleveland Browns lost to the San Francisco 49ers.

Shedeur was named the No. 1 after becoming the first Browns rookie quarterback to win their first start since 1995 in Week 12.

He scored his first touchdown at Huntington Bank Field with a long completion to Harold Fannin Jr. to keep his team in it early.

It was the fourth 30-plus-yard pass of his brief NFL career -- double what Joe Flacco (two) and Gabriel (zero) managed between them this season.

But the Niners defense took control of the game in blustery conditions.
