LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska volleyball team is the #1 overall seed for the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Tournament. The Huskers will play Long Island University in the opening round on Friday, Dec. 5. The winner will face either Kansas State or San Diego on Saturday at the Devaney Center.

Nebraska, which is undefeated this season, is a host site for both the opening weekend and NCAA Regionals.

Nebraska enters the post-season with a 30-0 record. Dani Busboom Kelly matched John Cook leading the Huskers to an undefeated regular season in her first season, something Cook did in his first year at Nebraska in 2000.

The NCAA Volleyball Final Four will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, this season. The national championship game is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21.
