WEST LAFAYETTE – The biggest game of the college football season to date is set.
Undefeated, No. 2 Indiana will meet undefeated, No. 1 Ohio State for the Big Ten championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday, the first time in its 15 years the league's conference title game will feature the top two teams in the country.
Indiana (12-0, 9-0 Big Ten) earned its way into the conference's year-end extravaganza for the first time after crushing Purdue 56-3 on Friday night in the 127th meeting between the in-state rivals and the 100th with the Old Oaken Bucket on the line. Indiana has won the two Bucket game with coach Curt Cignetti at the helm by a combined 122-3 after dropping five of the previous six.
