Oxford, Mich. - A young boy from Oxford is making waves in his community with his dedication to helping dogs in need.
Four-year-old Easton Peterson, inspired by a school project, has taken on the mission of raising funds for Canine Straight Rescue. His efforts have already resulted in at least $2,000 in can returns, according to Betsy Barnaba, the intake and kennel manager at the rescue.
Barnaba expressed her admiration for Easton's work. She said, "The ripple effect has been unbelievable."
Easton's mother, Jill, shared her pride in her son's commitment. "We're just so proud these animals need us," she said.
