DES MOINES, Iowa (KTIV) - The Des Moines International Airport has reopened after being shutdown for hours following an incident Saturday Nov. 29.

According to the airport’s X account, the airfield is now open, and operations have resumed on Sunday, Nov. 30.

According to KCCI, the airport was closed when an airplane slid off a runway Saturday. No one was hurt during the incident.

Due to the incident, all flights in and out of the airport were either delayed or canceled on Sunday morning.
