Mary Ellen journeyed to Scituate today to take a gander at the limpkin first spotted there by Jessie McGuire. If that doesn't sound familiar, it's because limpkins, common to Central and South America and the Caribbean, normally aren't seen north of Florida. And yet here it is, just as temperatures are plunging and we could get whacked by a nor'easter.
