GLADSTONE, Mich. — Linda C. Gilbert, age 72, of

Linda was born on January 25, 1953 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Walter Janssens and Frances VanSteen.

Linda was smart and had a heart of gold. A very adventurous person who was hard, but very fair. She loved her bird watching and gardening. In her younger years she and David enjoyed camping.

A member of All Saints Catholic Church, she was a woman of faith.

Linda was united in marriage to David Gilbert on January 30, 1995

She spent most of her life as a customer service representative for Miss Dig Michigan.

In addition to her husband, David, Linda is survived by: children: Kevin Kimberley and Kari Kimberley, Nichole Nault, Catherine Gilbert and William Gilbert; mother: Frances Jannsens; grandchildren: Zachary, Matthew, Destiney, Gabe
